Bidra med feedbackI visited this restaurant one morning for a quick meal. The only vegan breakfast option available was bagels, but they had a wide variety of vegan bagels to choose from (excluding those with cheese like jalapeño cheddar, etc.). They also offer vegan cream cheese, which was a nice touch. They serve coffee and have alternative milk options available.
Apart from the Parmesan rosemary bagel, the staff confirmed that the bagels are vegan, made without eggs or milk. The hummus is made in-house and includes whole chickpeas. Unfortunately, the dine-in sandwich options are not vegan-friendly, but there are some vegan alternatives available such as hummus, fruit salad, and a veggie sandwich. The staff and management are diligent and eager to help, efficiently moving customers through the line. Plenty of off-street parking and seating options are also available for customers to enjoy their meal.
I really enjoy this cafe, but it's not quite the same as authentic New York-style bagels. They are smaller and sometimes don't have a hole. My favorite is the pumpernickel flavor.
The people are most pleasant, the bagels are often warm, and the baked goods are tasty. Great for takeout. Sliced with honey walnut cream cheese is a win at my household. They usually have something like a dozen different flavors of bagel.
Fabulous breakfast sandwich. (I got the Hamlet, no mustard, on an everything bagel. Coffee is also really good. Great customer service. Special shout-out to Madison today! This was my first time, but I?ll be back.
