Louie's Hot Chicken And Barbecue

What a great hidden gem! Everything we had was great. I had the pulled pork. I love that it came with regular barbecue sauce and yellow gold barbecue sauce on the side! My husband is not a huge foodie but he was raving about their hot chicken. Normally spicy things aren’t hot enough for him, but he was sweating and begging for more to drink! The sides were typical for a barbecue joint. Be advised this is a hole in the wall without much seating. But boy is it worth a stop!

My wife and I ordered our food to go from here and the staff was so friendly and funny. I got the hot chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket. Then we added some smoked wings, and these things are HUGE! We got several sauces that they recommended, and the spicy BBQ sauce was my favorite, real heat and flavor.Can't wait to come back for their new Taco Tuesday menu.

Tried the tenders, spicy chicken sandwich, the white chicken (breast and wing) and the deep fried Oreos. Everything was amazing! And the service was super friendly being from the bay area, I'm just not used to people being so polite ?.Highly recommended!!Food: 5/5

Amazing food, great service. We got hot tenders, no heat tenders, pulled pork, fries, smoked wings, coleslaw, a sampling of sauces and fried Oreos. All were great. You get a lot of food for the price and it was all well worth getting again. Louis sauce with the chicken can't be beat.Food: 5/5

Perfect shop with absolutely fantastic flavors. Had the hot chicken with fries and Mac with cheese. Loved it. Will be returning every trip through Louisville.Food: 5/5
