Bidra med feedbackSo we all know what Captain D's is like: it's greasy fish and fries for a cheap meal. Lately Captain D's has been trying to revamp their image with more baked and broiled seafood dishes, which are actually pretty good if you can elude the siren song of fried food. The only problem is that they keep changing their menu so sometimes you fall in love with an item and then they change it, but the chicks at this location are good about working with you to find a new item that is similar or customizing something for you. I really like the blackened fish and green beans when I want something light. The only drawback to this location is that there is no drive-thru like at other locations, which is a bit annoying but not end of the world.
After church today our Sunday group decided to go to Captain D's for lunch. As usual we selected a variety of entrees. I tried the salmon. Delicious I'm sure I will have again. Nice senior menu and reasonably priced.
Great food! But the salad tasted funny. But everything else was awesome!! Best fish in town!! And The staff there is super friendly and fast!
Good quality seafood with friendly customer service. The main courses are about half the price of Red Lobster but the same quality. May have to wait a bit longer for baked fish plates vs fried, but definitely worth it.
