The downside is the lack of creativity. It seems they depend on the presence of tofu based dishes to please the veg heads. I'd like to see something like a vegetable dumpling, spring rolls, etc. They're appetizers are the likes of fried tofu, summer rolls filled with tofu, etc. I usually get some kind of rice noodle dish with stir fried veggies. The food isn't bad. Although sometimes the food is bland, but the assortment of sauces on the table can quickly fix that. The service isn't horrible. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat it works. Or of it's a Wednesday and Vietnam Kitchen is closed.
This place is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend everyone to try this place out at least once, you'll be hooked. The staff is so pleasant and accommodating, customer service doesn't get any better than this! Definitely a diamond in the rough, golden gem kind of restaurant... The only issue I have would be that styrofoam isn't recyclable and melts when the fried food items touches it (change to 100% recyclable/biodegradable containers and problem solved). Keep up the great work!
It a well established, worn down restaurant. There was only one service person but he was doing very well servicing the tables. The portions were decent and well prepared. The beef was a little bit tough but the noodles were flavorful. The food is somewhat overpriced for what you get. There are better Vietnamese restaurants.
I never write reviews but this place was a 10/10. Super authentic and the food was some of the best that I’ve had in Louisville. The place is also very charming. Absolutely loved!
It was my partners first time trying Vietnamese food. We both had the beef pho and it was fantastic. Portion size was not ridiculously huge like some restaurants we’ve been to but we both left satisfied.
