Big L's Barbeque - Louisburg

This big boy sandwich here is known to the locals as Spare Tire. I went ahead and tried it based on the waiter recommendation and this thing was killer! The monster size meter was also charmingly funny to cut into the sandwich with its great presentation. Overall, the restaurant has a great family atmosphere and cheap prices! Would recommend it to anyone who loves BBQ.

The food is really good. It is perfect for family meals and the service was wonderful.

My family and I drove to Pittsburgh, Kansas from Kansas City and we are so GLAD WE DID!!! Now I'm a Native BBQ Queen, I live the street of Gates, I am fully familiar with all the different types of BBQ from KC and other states in the USA and burned ends of all kinds, unnecessary to say it's my favorite type of food. I ordered the special for today the Burnt End BBQ Sandwich and Pommes, and my stepmother ordered the Smoked Catfish, the potato salad and the Coleslaw. EVERYTHING WE HAD WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! The burnt-end sandwich with the HOUSEMADE BBQ SAUCE was better than Jack Stacks and one of the BEST-burning sandwiches I've ever had!!! Soft, thick delicious smoke ring, the BBQ sauce was sweet and delicious!!! One of the best BBQ sauces I ever tasted!!! The pommes were homemade potato frits and just really seasoned!!! They were both delicious!!! The smoked catfish was SOOOOO GOOD!!! I had never smoked cats before, but Boyo boy was worth it!!! The potato salad and the Coleslaw were perfectly seasoned and delicious!! This was one of the best meals I have ever had!!! It was good!!! I've saved it in my phone now as a favorite exposer, so if you've ever been through DEFINITELY CHECK DIESER DELICIOUS RESTAURANT OUT!!! That's it! It's worth it! It is worth tasting only the delicacies that this restaurant is!!!

I ate here a few weeks ago with a son. He had a bbq pizza and I had a BBQ plate. Oh, and I can't forget. We ordered a page of corn-nuggets! The maize nuggets are worth the journey themselves! The pizza was absolutely amazing. The Bbq sauce filled the pizza very well. In addition, the bbq sampler should die. 10 out of 10 will eat here.

The food here is amazing. The meat was so tender you didn't need a knife. The service is super friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We have nothing bad to say about this place. It's about 35 minutes from our house but so worth the drive! We will be back!
