Cafe Rouge Loughton

Good price-performance breakfast. Service a little slower than usual because it was really busy because of Mother's Day. Only negative is that it was not very warm and quite frightened there. Apart from this good service as usual.

No shells or fillet steak. Just what we wanted. The English of the waitress was very poor and she fought to understand what we wanted. Sirloin Steak med rare was chewing and fat, restaurant was cool and therefore food was quickly cold. Dessert had to be sent back because Tarte was not fresh. When we arrived, I said I have a discount voucher, the manager took the set menu away and said you will not need this in a slightly descending way. His way made us embarrassed. I usually enjoy a visit to Café Rouge, but not on this occasion.

Really good service, nice atmosphere and delicious chicken! Come on!

While food and service was very good, I was not happy with booking a table experience. On arrival it did not seem to be a table reserved for us, in fact they had to move another diner to welcome us.

The service was very good it was lucky we wasn't there on a busy night as we arrived a little late . Our waiter was attentive and very sweet . Food was very good for the spring menu though a few more options would have been nice . Thank you .
