Bidra med feedbackIn the early afternoon with reservations and arrived directly. It wasn't at 1:30. The waitress was very pleasing and familiar with the castle and the surrounding plots, although a little lack of attention. The lobster bisque and beer frits were very good as the mixed drink and walnut cake. The Schnitzel sandwich was edible, but a bit thin, dry, chewing, overcooked and could have used more sauce!
This was a surprise trip to the castle (reviewed for my husband separately for our Helloversary celebrity). when we met 23 years ago! We had a reservation at 5 at The Copper Becher, but went early because ewe arrived on the property early. They greeted us cordially and immediately put us in a stand. DRINKS: The fallen drinks were delicious! (because the photo I highly recommend the Butterscotch Mocha, it was so creamy and sweet my favorite item and created by our server Cassie!! <3 FOOD: We we we we we are starving with skipped lunch and driving a few hours. The Lobster Mac Cheese French Onion Soup ordered as apps. Soup wasn't hot.. Taste was great, but I ate it without complaint. The Mac cheese was so dry that we couldn't eat it and sent it back. It didn't seem to have cheese? My husband has the Prime Rib with a baked potato and I have the Short Ribs. Again mine was warm, not hot, especially the potatoes, but as I said we were hungry and the taste was delicious! They had a total of 4 tables, all came after us, so it was not busy rushing a reason for the kitchen. Although there was a wedding this evening, so maybe her focus was there? All in all a ok experience. Server was good, food taste was great. Later on to the reformatory Haunted House!
We didn't know this place existed and literally happened while we spontaneously decided to drive the Amish bypass. We literally drove through dirt roads when we came to Landoll?s Mohican Castle, of which the copper cup is part. It was the adventurous journey we needed to find them. Not only the surroundings beautiful (we ate outside), but our waiter was so beautiful and happy. The best was SUPERB, first class! I can't remember the last time I ate so much.
Restaurant in Landoll?s Mohikanische Burg. The interior is so cool, many ancient memories collected by the founder. Love the mood of it really feels like an old European pub. The food was super got fish and chips and lobster bisque. Has a terrace for the summer time and a small bar inside. We were not at the hotel, just came around a glance, but it was very nice to walk around and explore! Cool building of the castle is
So while we were here down in Mohican we stopped at the castle on at a pretty cool restaurant called the copper mug. It's dedicated to the founder and his life on how he built the castle in mohican. This evening me and my lady had dinner with schnitzel asparagus brussel sprouts lobster bisque and bruschetta. Thank you so much for awesome evening even though the kitchen was swamped from the event prior to us getting there
