Bidra med feedbackThis is the new pizzeria that has just opened in the old premises of the much missed Il Punto , in the centre of Lotzorai where the ss125 turns right at the end of the main road. Currently set up more as a takeaway with seating for 25 or so. The menu only lists pizza but they do steaks and other things but have yet to figure out how to sell them and whether to increase service. Currently the pizza is truly excellent, really tasty, thin crust and nicely cooked. The prices are very cheap with a Margherita costing 4.50 Euros and a Completa just 10 Euros. Drinks are limited but also cheap. Currently if you eat in you get a plastic cup but as the place matures, who knows?
The Pizza base was to thick and therefore pretty dry. It was ok but if you want a really good Pizza we would not recommend it. Service was nice and fast. Other food we did not try :
As we understand this place has just opened up this fall and surely it should be able to gain ground. We ate there three times one in the restaurant for lunch and two times as take away pizza. The restaurant: We had their set menu for 12 euro including a pasta, a meat dish, water and coffee. Excellent price! The pasta was fine, but the meat was really delicious better cooked (grilled), more tender and more tastefull than in most other places. We had a grilled lam steak, very rare but with a taste and texture of a well hung peace of meat excellent. The pizza's were a bit of a disappointment. Had them for takeaway twice. They were too wet and impossible to eat without knife and fork. With the great pizzas on Sardinia this needs improvement. It appears like a family driven restaurant and we can defiantly recommend it for a dining experience going for the meat!
