Los Gatos Cafe

I came in for brunch on Mother's Day. The restaurant was very busy, and the wait time was 30 minutes. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I would definitely return if I'm in the area. Additionally, the restaurant is dog-friendly.

Los Gatos Cafe is the spot for that ole diner food experience. Inside and outside seating. Counter seating is, for me the best place to witness the staff up close. The staff all spoke Spanish along with the cooks. They take pride in serving their guest and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Even if the place was packed, the cooks are efficient with their delivery of affordable and plentiful portions of that diner food we all enjoy eating. Someone criticized that the eggs Benedict were soggy. You can always have the sauce on the side. The waitresses are eager to please your preferences in how you would like the food received.I ordered the apple sausage Cali Benedict, with grits. The grits was great. I had brown sugar added with butter. The Benedict was smothered, with avocado with eggs over easy. The sauce was light. Not too thick. So, I was good with that.Overall, if you enjoy a Spanish speaking wait staff who are efficient and accommodating…this cafe is the spot. Go ahead and, pretend you are in a Spanish speaking area and practice your Spanish.

I had the Benedict super and it had fried bacon with avocado. Herbed potatoes sides made it filling. French toast was not too sweet with perfect flavors. Would highly recommend for brunch.
