Zen Mei Bistro - Los Angeles

The food at this restaurant is delicious. The staff was friendly, despite the busy atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the lemon chicken and the bok choy. The lo mein was decent, and the BBQ pork was tasty but the portions were a bit small.

The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious.

I have never done any reviews but I have been coming to eat at this restaurant for over 30! Years. We live in orange county and sometimes make the commute because it's worth it. Authentic Chinese Cuisine

Make sure to mention my name, Michelle, when you visit this restaurant. I highly recommend the sole fillet with vegetables and the rice porridge. While it may be considered a hidden gem with some areas for improvement, increasing prices is not the solution. Michelle goes above and beyond in providing excellent service, deserving of a five-star rating. I have continued to support this restaurant throughout the pandemic and have tried numerous menu items, all of which have been delicious. Both Michelle and How are incredibly hospitable and gracious in their treatment of customers. Keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesdays.

A unique, authentic, intimate experience. My food was tremendous and the staff was sublime. Highly recommend.
