Bidra med feedbackI would love more chicken with my garlic, please. Since I don't live in Miami or Havana, Versailles is the best I can get for Cuban food here in Los Angeles. I always order the garlic chicken; they give you such generous portions that I often have leftovers for lunch the next day. Sure, I might be overwhelmed by garlic for a day, but I don't mind. The chicken used to be consistently perfectly cooked, but now it's hit or miss. My husband enjoys the fried plantains and roasted yucca, which are usually prepared well. We also try the Bistec de Palomilla, which is a marinated top sirloin, thinly sliced and topped with grilled onions. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly, but you have to stay on top of them if you want drink refills. I can't emphasize enough how inconsistent this place has become, so enjoy at your own risk!
