Bidra med feedbackI first came to the Redwood Bar almost ten years ago, and just recently performed there for the first time. Bob the manager is so super friendly, the staff and service were great, and the food was awesome! Our friends who came to see us, as well as we performers were taken extremely good care of. As for the food, they use really fresh ingredients for sure, as you never find food this good in bars. I've seen a lot of great shows at the Redwood over the years and highly recommend this as a great live music venue in DTLA!
Only issue about this bar is that it's not big enough to contain the good times inside. Never not have a dope time. The staff is top notch and the bands are the best in town. This place is awesome.
My workmate treated me to the Redwood on my birthday because it's my favorite place. I love to sit at the mermaid table. The pirate ambiance is the absolute best. Not to mention the rock and roll music. Oh, and the food is to die for. My favorite is the grilled cheese with the works. The lunch specials are delicious. My complements to the chef. The staff are so friendly too. My old fashioned was the topper to my birthday celebration. Try it out yourself or walk the plank. Arrrrrgggghhhj!
No better place to have Beer Battered Fish and Chips. A pirate ship themed bar and grill with Reggae music. Great place for a quick lunch.
Really liked this place. I was in L.A. on holiday and this bar was behind/beneath my hotel really chilled place. Great staff. Amazing food. And a good selection of beer to go with it. Really cool theme to the place being decorated like a pirate ship. Skulls with candles on the bar ship wheel chandeliers are such a good touch. Live bands are a common site and if not there's always some good rock on the stereo system. Definitely one too seek out if your in DTLA.
