Lala's Downtown Los Angeles

The food was okay. I had the Greek salad with salmon, which was tasty and the salmon was cooked perfectly. However, I was not pleased with the service. The waiter taking our order was rushing and seemed disinterested in our needs. He refused to split our checks and he appeared to be in charge, which was disappointing.

This was the first time heading to LALA's and I was pleased with the contents of menu, showcasing the very best that Argentine cuisine has to offer. I got the New York steak with French fries and it was superb. I bought 16 Oz Chimichurri sauce and I enjoy every minute of it.

Edwardo has recreated the restaurant from my childhood. The new twists on traditional dishes and perfect grilling of meat make this Argentinian restaurant fantastic. I brought my son-in-law and nephew and they were pleasantly full. The desserts are incredibly light, exotic, and rich. Even though I live in San Diego, I will make the effort to visit again in December with my family.

This was a group event and everything was on point! The food was served family style and fresh! Flavors abound!

The service was spectacular and food was delicious. Great selection of wines and beer. Can't wait to come back again.
