Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles right now. I had gone in Chicago a few years ago and have been to Girl the Goat L.A. for dinner three times now. Chef Izard is truly a food genius! The entire kitchen and front of house team do an amazing job. Everything is so delicious, I did a shoulder shimmy after almost every bite. The food is packed with flavor but still well balanced and the menu draws from numerous culinary regions and traditions. Already startingto plan my next visit!
Great place to enjoy multiple fun dishes with top notch service. Your water will be refilled before you even notice they are getting low. Had several dishes here and each one was uniquely fun and delicious. The green beans and hamachi were my personal favorite. But everything from the duck tar tar to curry was delicious. Even some of the items such as the skirt steak that may have not been the best we?ve ever had were super unique and fun to eat. Really good for experiencingdifferent flavors in awesome open atmosphere.
Tonight, dining at Girl and the Goat was an experience marked by an unfortunate mistake in our order. Our waitress, Laurie, took order for our table and a mix-up on the order occurred. Regrettably, the staff failed to rectify her error promptly, leaving us with the incorrect order. To exacerbate the situation, there was no communication about the mistake, and instead, we were handed dessert menus as if nothing had happened and the order never came. It was a disappointing lapse in service that impacted our overall enjoyment of the evening.
Lovely spot with very unique dishes that are delicious. Always crowded, reservations recommended. Dress up a little, because people look nice here. Highly recommend.
Everything about this place was thoughtfully and intentionally done. We went for dinner as a group of 6 and we asked our server to make all the decisions for us and we were not disappointed. There wasn’t one bad dish. Our favorites were the beef that fell off the bones and you could make into little wraps with the naan or lettuce and the lamb which was cooked so perfectly. All of the vegetarian dishes were good too- the beet salad and there was one with greens and shrimp. the hummus with the naan. Then. Dessert. They don’t miss a beat here! We got the mango sticky rice and these chocolate squares that felt like a bed of clouds. Everything was so good. Even the mock tails. 10/10 Will return soon.
