Bidra med feedbackThis place is my #1 spot in Chinatown! The food is always consistent and lightning fast. Service can tend to hover but it’s because they are doing their best to be attentive and take away any empty plates.Complementary tea is provided which is always a nice touch. Once you order the first dish it could come out in under 3 mins and they will bring out food as it is ready. I swear I’ve never waited longer than 10mins for the first dish to arrive. My usual order is the Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and the Pan Fried Green Beans. Like I said above, it comes out consistent each time I come which I really value. The portions are also large so you can either share or bring home the leftovers for a second meal (and third lol). If you have a large party, they have the circular tables with the spinny tops which is pretty fun ngl.Anyway, I’m sorry I didn’t leave a review earlier because this really is one of my favorite spots in LA!
A very disappointing mediocre meal at best after a very long wait. Growing up with a Chinese best friend since preschool, I became very familiar with traditional Chinese food. And singed up this place was located in the heart of Chinatown with high ratings. I thought I'd give it a shot. However I was very disappointed. The quality of meat was barely edible and the sauce was lackluster. I followed the top review where Mr. Bahama suggested to try the orange chicken. Worst mistake I've made of 2023. See for yourself in the images I've attached. If I didn't have to go to back to work and I had more time I would have went back and got a refund.
Great Canto food our go-to in Chinatown. Parking: No more parking validations. Different parking lot owners.
Typical asian restaurant,.. not bad at all,.. me and my kid loved it,. recollect some good old memories,... i like to visit establishment for their survival,.. not by the name or yelp, . business continues for reasons,. i will go back someday!!? Kid-friendliness: they have hi~chair for kids,. but my boy is too old to use it!!?
This classic Cantonese style restaurant is back in the running in our old school Chinatown serving up both Cantonese and Chinese American favorites. Located conveniently on the 2nd floor next to the escalators, and above all the hipsters crowding the first level for chicken. The menu is adorned with seafood favorites from lobster to French Style Filet, to Walnut Shrimp, to fresh daily vegetables and all your classic noodles both dry and wet. While many of the others in old Chinatown who either have gone away or taken some wrong turns, Fortune seems to be getting things right once more.Gringos may be terrified of the freshwater tanks housing the daily deliveries of fresh seafood, but they are tasty.Top dishes include their String Beans, Fried Tofu, Filet in XO Sauce, Steamed Chicken with Ginger Sauce, Lobster with Scallions and Ginger, and Braised Brisket served with Turnips. Of course, the menu has many other very well executed dishes also that are just too many to list here.Parking is a bit of a challenge in this plaza. There is parking located just underground with entrances on both Hill and Broadway. The underground parking is small and narrow. Big SUVs need not even try unless you want to risk some bodywork enhancements. Check the parking located across on Hill Street, and there is always street parking for the bold.
