BS Taqueria - Los Angeles

As always, bs taqueria not disappointed. the chicken chicharrons are nothing less amazing. love that bs taqueria an inventive approach for classic and humble Mexican food. the tears and bleed my understanding, nothing like what they would expect, and again delicious. and these amazing churros. do not know how to make them so fluffy, melt in their mouth amazing. but I would only come for these churros!

Great tacos, especially the mushroom garlic tacos! bud and rice are really different and good! margarita paloma is delicious! the molfries were an interesting change and the guacamole was really, really good! will go back and have told others about it! we even came too late for traffic and they were courteous and the service was great!

Delicious eating great options for vegetarian, also. some of the drinks are absolutely fantastic, and the happy hour is fantastic! eating is inventive, but not fussy or strange. I love really spicy eating, but not everyone does, so it is worth noting that I also thought eating was quite daring hot spy....but not to the point of disturbing with the aromes. I was a couple times and I'm coming back.

This was one of those meals that you think about days after and a smile appears on your face. We started with the guacamole, and I had no idea something as simple as guac could be THIS GOOD. The spice was on point, a dusting of cotija and cilantro built upon the flavors, and we found ourselves trying to lick the bowl. THEN came the fish tacos. I've never had an authentic fish taco until dining here and I'm certain there's no way another will ever compare. The tortilla had just the right amount of chew, the fish was piping hot and crispy, just out of the fryer, and the slaw added the perfect crunch to an unforgettable few bites. I'm eager to try more here, but it'll be hard not to just order fish tacos and guacamole after loving them so damn much.

We went to Bs Taqueria with my parents wanting to try a good example of Alta California food. The food and service was fantastic but I really want to give a shout out to the host managing the schedule. I'd specifically reserved for 6:45PM and somehow completely misremembered the reservation as being for 8:00PM. I called literally five minutes after our reservation and explained it was completely my fault and they could give our table away if needed. Instead, the host very kindly asked if we still could make it and then scheduled us for that time later in the evening. I know that missing or ditching reservations is a nightmare in the industry so his accommodation for my mistake was really above and beyond.
