Bon Vivant Market Cafe - Los Angeles

Excellent place with a very special European-Italian atmosphere. Everything there is delicious. The cheese boards are made especially for you by a cheese specialist who first comes to your table to discuss your preferences and then prepares the board himself. If he is not there, there are no cheese boards that day. Five stars also for the waiters, who are always in a great mood. Live music. good drinks, it all makes thumbs up! By far my favorite place.

I like the ambiance of this French cafe/ restaurant. The music is nice too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and it’s good. The sayer was good. I didn’t like the bread that much because it wasn’t toasted that much. The chicken could have been juicer and more flavorful. They actual put a lot of chicken. Comes with salad or fries. Prices are a bit higher than other places. There’s an outdoor patio. There’s no wifi on weekends. You can park in the residential area for free. Feel good to work on your computer. They have communal tables. It’s a nice place to come drink wine and eat cheese. Voila!

Went here for a birthday celebration. They were able to accommodate approximately 30 people in our party. Great customer experience. Live music was outstanding. Food was good. Great place to relax. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I moved from San Antonio to LA in July of 2022. We found Bon Vivant a couple of weeks ago and loved the food and the vibe so much we’ve been back twice. Since 2020 I’ve been a contributing photographer at San Antonio Magazine specializing in Food Beverage so Bon Vivant is a goldmine to me. I stopped back in today to grab some great shots of the Brie Burger and Dori’s signature cocktail. See the photos but do yourself a favor and check them out. Bon Vivant Market cafe is a great place to hang out for food drinks. The vibes is excellent. It does give an Oktoberfest feel with Swiss deli touch. The food is excellent including the service. Since I went in the afternoon, it does have a bar feel but I heard this is also good for brunch. It might be different vibes depending on the time. Lastly, I love the quirky pieces all over the place. It is well designed.
