See's Candies - Los Altos

I walked into See's Candy Los Altos Long Beach location and was immediately greeted by 3 friendly staff members. Alexandra S. assisted me with a custom pack of about a pound and a half variety of custom packed candies. She was very patient making sure I was aware of the types of candies I was selecting, she answered all of my questions and I asked a lot considering this was my first custom pack. She the let me know she'd be happy to wrap the box and made sure I was aware of the different types of decorative wrap, she helped me decide the best selection for the occasion... Alexandra was so pleasant, this was not my first time in that store but being my first custom pack she really made the whole experience a very pleasant one!!! Scale of 1-10 on the pleasant experience scale , Alexandra S. and The Los Altos See's Candy gets a perfect 10+!!!

The employees greet you when you walk in the door and ask some questions to figure out the sample you might like best. They'll help you if you need help making a decision but also back off when you don't. This is one of the best stores I've been to...

They are too short staffed and run out of a lot of the popular candies. I go here a lot to get gifts for family, but the last 3 times I've gone there has not been enough staff to handle the patrons effectively also did not get a free sample as I always get brushed off to the 2nd register and they never have any samples over there . The free sample used to be a nice perk that makes the wait time worth it. Will try another location next time since the candy itself is very good.
