Cafe La Scala Italian Restaurant Bar Cafe

This unassuming place was such a refreshing treat! The ambience was absolutely lovely.Mains were average but desserts were outstanding. We got the tiramisu and triple chocolate mousse going by all the reviews here. The chocolate mousse was impeccable.Will be coming back for more of the mousse for sure :

Food and service are outstanding at La Scala. Owner and waitstaff are friendly and very accommodating. We are frequent quests and highly recommend this small, locally owned restaurant.

Delightful place, super friendly staff and delicious food!

The special for the night was palenta and it was extremely dry and not edible. The owner, recognizing that it was really bad, took it off the bill. The fried calamari was not flavorful and ordinary. The lettuce in the Caesar's salad was fresh and crispy but the dressing was bland. My wife's lasagna was good, above the run of the mill and was served piping hot, the way it should be.

Amazing—most restaurants are loud. I'm not into that type of ambience I really enjoy when it's quiet or I can't recall the noise. I want to hear a moderate or energetic ambience then I'd go to a pub, bar, or different restaurant.
