Senor Fish - Los Alamitos

So we went in because we were looking for seafood. The restaurant looks good and we were immediately welcomed. Unfortunately they had no mojarra frita (footfish). We asked for something else and they didn't. We got Tacos and my husband tried the Burrito. It was good, but not great. The fact that they have fish in their name and did not have it for consumption was a little disturbing. We went in during lunch, so maybe they weren't ready yet? I could give it another shot if it was just a free day.

Great food and service. Simply decorate, very dark and depressing. All black lacquered. Like a club look without entertainment. Very little light, but some on tables. ALL of the windows were covered with graffiti, partially scrubbed, feeling type of sinners. Strange smell. Pretty big room almost empty for dinner time. To see it

Yes, I'm sorry, Senor fish, but your place was dark, gloomy, without atosmpher, they were made of shrimps and their octopus tasted like rubber, took too long until only items arrive. Yeah, no, unless you're there for the beer and don't care about the food because you drank too much.

Could better definitely describe this situation very well. Food quality is about the same as its other LA locations, but the actual shutdown was the execution in Echo Park. Almost on a bone in Fish Burrito was quite exciting. The new prices were also harder to swallow than the fish bones. Overall, the feeling was moderate for both the service and the execution from the kitchen. There was only a measure of disappointment that could not be eliminated. Senor Fish is still a decent place for affordable seafood options.

I came here with my family and fiance. My aunt picked this place for dinner and I'm glad she did. The food was really good. The atmosphere was quiet and chill for it being a Tuesday evening. I ordered their taco special. 2 tacos with a choice of two sides and a medium drink. I picked the Al Pastor and it was sooooo delicious. Perfectly seasoned and tender. My fiance ordered the seafood loaded fries and it looked as delicious as it tasted. Everything was cooked just right. Perfect portion amount for the price. Service was great. Everyone was so welcoming, nice and patient. Unfortunately, I live an hour away but if I'm ever in the area, I will return. ?
