La Cabrera - Los Alamitos

We had not visited La Cabrera since the beginning of the pandemic and we had a distinguished visitor from Argentina with whom we were having lunch... hence, the selection... La Cabrera didn't let us down...

Respect all the traditions of La Cabrera Buenos Aires. Excellent quality of meat, which is the most important thing in a grill, the service is completely attentive and the chef understands perfectly how to entertain his customers!

The asado de Tira was a bit fattier than I care for. Still well cooked and delicious with a relaxed atmosphere in a classy part off Mexico city

Service was good. Food was copious and generally tasty, but we had a variety of beef plates and all were a bit overcooked for my taste medium well vs medium rare. Rather loud construction going on in the adjacent mall was distracting. But overall, a nice restaurant. A Mexican produced Bordeaux style wine and Nebbiolo were very positive surprises, as I was previously unfamiliar with Mexican wines.

I had raviolis, my sister a sandwich. Good was good, service excellent, very kind staff. It was about $750 for two. Thank you!
