Choong Man Chicken - Lorton

The chicken was pretty good but I'm hearing reports that they are charging customers while the Location is closed. What's up with that?! Anyone have any insider info on why this location closed down?

We ordered the fish and chips and a five piece wings last night online only to drive up and there is a closed sign on the door. Tried calling and the call doesn't go through. KINDLY UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE PLEASE. And stop charging people when they aren't going to be receiving anything. Kind of a JA move. Wanted to give them a try for a while (other locations) but we won't be after this.

I'm not sure what's is up with this location. I was able to place an order online for pickup but when I arrived the location has a closed sign on the door and the phone number doesn't even ring just dropped calls. Im trying to figure out how to get my money back as the charge seems to have gone through just fine.

Just came in to check out the place. Wasn 't greeted, no kind of eye contact, the gentleman just stood at the register looking down. I asked if the tea was sweet....his answer was everything here is sweet . Not very friendly!. Not sure if I will return for a meal.

I gave them 2-3 tries before writing this review, just to make sure I felt the same about the quality of their food. My final, personal verdict is that they 're just okay. The chicken wings aren 't as crispy as I 'd like them to be like at Bonchon, Pelicana, etc. and their soy garlic sauce is a tinge too sweet, but they 're decent enough to eat. Their bubble tea is also very average compared to cafes that specialize in bobas. I think maybe if they had made mine a bit colder, it would be much better. I dined in and quickly realized that just because the place is empty, that doesn 't mean it 's pristine. I immediately noticed the dead bugs by my window as I sat at a booth and noticed how sticky the general place was--probably from all the soy garlic sauce and boba. It wasn 't super dirty or anything, but it could use a bit more cleaning. I would like to point out that they had what seemed like only 2-3 employees working, so they were probably saving the cleanup for closing time. Overall, this place is perfectly average and will do if you want some soy garlic/fried wings and boba and don 't want to drive further for another place.
