Great Ocean Road Bakehouse Lorne

The restaurant offers delicious pies and excellent service. We tried the chunky meat pie, roast chicken pie, and finished with a delicious lemon meringue pie. All of them were fantastic. Definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area.

This bakery on the coast is top-notch. Their sourdough bread on Saturdays is excellent and definitely worth the wait, especially the beetroot and walnut variety. The cakes and pies are all delicious, and they also serve a fantastic cup of coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it a valuable asset to Lorne.

This restaurant is a smaller version of Apollo Bay Bakery, featuring the same menu but on a smaller scale. Their scallop pies are delicious and worth trying.

My go to lunch venue when we are visiting. I arrived a bit late day 1 and missed on the chunky pepper steak pie but had a sweet chilli sausage roll. Sweet chilli was pretty tasty but as filling as a pie so i went back and grabbed a spinach and ricotta sausage roll. Coffee machine wasn 't operating because of lack of staff. Day 2 and the chunky beef and pepper was as good as i remembered.

Such a lovely family business. Staff are absolutely beautiful and very generous and the food is amazing (all very fresh)
