Cafe Pyrenees - Lormont

I felt that I had to write a review after reading the adverse review from 2016. I have lunch there yesterday and everything was good. Food staff and premises. I will return.

We were shopping in the Carrefour right next to this Bistro so decided to call in for some lunch. One waitress asked if we had come for lunch and when we said yes she showed us to a table. Another waitress who served that table avoided us for over 15 minutes and ignored us even when the first one demanded why she had not taken our order. She made one excuse that she wanted a glass of water, then another that she had forgotten to bring her notepad. When she finally decided to serve us she smirked that it was now too late for lunch at that we might be able to order something from the a la carte menu. Appallingly rude behaviour from a lazy waitress who did not want to bother serving another table. We had to return to our apartment without lunch. Best avoided unless you are one of the regular customers as outsiders are made to feel most unwelcome.

Convivialité et bonne humeur sont les ingrédients de cette brasserie, avec en prime, une cuisine rapport qualité/Prix...plus que convenable ! Mourad le patron toujours à l'écoute, et le personnel aux petits soins...à consommer sans modération...je vous le dis !

Je mange assez régulièrement dans cette brasserie. Je ne peux pas mettre 4 étoiles car c'est une brasserie et pas un vrai resto mais sinon nous aimons beaucoup cet endroit car la cuisine y est soignée, plutôt copieuse et le patron sympa. Pour un repas du midi entre collègues ou entre amis allez y sans crainte, on y mange généralement bien.
