Bidra med feedbackWe had a wonderful lunch on the patio. The owner couldn't have been more hospitable and the food was fantastic. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were excellent. We enjoyed the experience immensely.
What an amazing lunch. From the moment you arrive you are so well looked after. The experience is simply beautiful from the scenery to the most amazing food and absolutely delightful staff. Thank you so much Already looking forward to our next visit.
The experience at La Casina Rosa is unique. What deserves 5 stars is the ambience, the romantic atmosphere of the place, all decorated with originality, care and art by the owner, with exclusive attention to the details. The restaurant is located in a quiet area, with hills around, and surrounded by a pretty, green lawn, with weeping willow trees. It is strongly recommended that you call in advance to make a reservation, especially for lunch. When we arrived, we were first welcomed by the owner, Madam Marino, a fine lady who made us feel as her guests right away. We started with “antipasti”, which were a series of three different plates, one after the other one, each one with different types of food prepared with a wide range of herbs and even marmalade and honey. Being an “agriturismo”, much of what was served was grown and produced in the same place, including some of the meat, herbs and spices, and a variety of bread. In fact, herbs are what gives a special aroma to each dish and what characterizes their cooking. Pay attention to the decorative ‘powder’ around the edge of the plates as it is more than a decoration. It is actually herb dusting in which you can ‘dip’ the food. We had other servings after the “appetizers”. We spent about E.30-35 per person, including wine and dessert. It feels like experimenting a different world, although being unaccustomed to such diverse taste at times left me uncertain about what I was actually eating... What is magical, though, is the very romantic ambience, the way the place is arranged and its surroundings. After the meal, we talked with the owner and then enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere of the garden, on the benches under the trees, with a pleasant breeze in a very hot summer day. It is worth a trip (don’t forget to ask for directions when you call to make a reservation, as it is otherwise difficult to find it). A tip: don’t go there just for food but to enjoy some relaxing time in a special place. You can even stay there, as they have accommodation facilities.
Really a beautiful discovery, surrounded by greenery, as welcoming as its owner who cares about the well-being of its guests. High quality food, philosophy of the km presentation of dishes very attractive because even at the table it is true that the eye wants its part, relaxed atmosphere but could not be different, excellent value for money. We ate outdoors and welcomed us with a fresh prosecco and a delicious basket of breads and lace of the house and the only problem is that you just can't eat them! licorice bread, curcuma with seeds and rosemary... exceptional. excellent crispy and softly full-bodied lace. all accompanied by oil of their production. We opted for hand-made noodles to porcini mushrooms, finferli and cardarelli (very good and will not be elegant but we made the shoes,) braised of beef to the montepulciano that melted in the mouth, turret of tender pig and vegetables (with vegetables cooked to the plate and crisps in the oven) and finished with zabajone to the vincotto and tenderlo to the ate Finally the coffee made with moka but a cup! It's impossible not to go back because the menu changes with the seasons and who knows how many other goodness we can try.
I was with the family in this beautiful family-run farm. lovely location. excellent welcome. local cuisine. goose appetizers, especially cheeses. excellent guitar with truffles. tasty braised. That's great. We'll be back.
