Bar Tlalocan - Loreto

We were right around the corner in the la damiana inn and they recommended bar tlalocan for good margaritas on our first day. we went back every day and sometimes twice a day. carlos, the owner barkeeper is a great host, plays...fantastic music that he is very well known and has made the best fresh margaritas we had. be eating is also very fresh and tasty. the casual atmosphere, location and great talks with carlos were a highlight of our trip.

Good fish tacos, great fresh margaritas, good company, clean local expat meeting place. What else could they ask for?

Carlos is a great host. I loved sitting on the bar that looks on the street and looks past the city. his love for detail and cleanliness is the best in the city. he recently started eating service and the kokos shrimp tacos are...to die

Really great specialty tacos! Roasted veggie salsa is tasty. Carlos has a wonderful way with beverages. You'll need to get there early for a good seat, as this is a local ex-pat hotspot on Thursday. The drinks are good, prices are too. Make sure you...leave room for dessert! Either Spiced rum cake with buttercream frosting, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, or decadent brownies with ice cream! All the baked goods are from scratch. After all that, you can walk around the Plaza Centro to work off your dinner.
