I wasn’t hungry but The Sardine Factory was so inviting as we walked past that we had to stop in for a tasting. I’m glad we did. Reasonable prices and wonderful views of East Loone River. My favorite was the Fish Finger Tacos that were light and flavorful. The Cornish Sardines were perfect and the capers added just the right amount of saltiness. The Cornish Crab Mac cheese was great but I would have loved larger chunks of the crab. However, the flavors were excellent. My only issue was the restaurant’s floors that were tacky or sticky as though the floor cleaning solution may not have been completely cleared. Excellent service, delicious, fresh local ingredients cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the moules mariniere, scotch egg, pickled mussels and the freshly baked loaf with smoked cod’s roe.
