Kimpo korean BBQ - Longueuil

I had an amazing takeout experience at this restaurant! It was for a birthday celebration and we have been coming here ever since. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our takeout meal.

My teenage daughter and three friends went to Kimpo Brossard yesterday. The online menu on their website stated one price, but when they arrived, the staff claimed the menu was outdated. Interestingly, this was fixed today. The online menu also advertised a discount for groups of four or more, but they were not honored. This mistake was also corrected today. While the food was good, my daughter and her friends will not be returning to this restaurant due to their dishonest practices. It seems they tried to take advantage of four teenage girls for a little extra money.

As my friend and I decided to try this restaurant, we didn't know it was all they could eat. we also had no reservations that must be one for Saturday night. they had a place for us, but we had to eat. in hours. the waiter told us to order the time as much as possible so that we don't have to wait long when they are busy. it was a good advice. we ordered various dishes and desserts. it sounds like much, but there were only or pieces per plate. everything was so good that we barely spoke. the sushi was fresh, the Korean grill was delicious and delicate. the service was good as the waiters have quickly cleared away the dishes as we ate. remember to make reservations, especially if they are a large group.

I love Korean BBQ although my experience with this type of food is quite limited. Kimpo BBQ was quite good, but not great. For starters, we were in the restaurant for a Thursday lunch, which surprised us. Service was OK, but I'd have thought...it would have been quicker seeing as we were nearly alone. Food was ok, lacking in flavor for some dishes, excellent for others though. Pricier than what I'm used to for Korean BBQ. Nevertheless, a good fix in when in need! Empty as it was though, one must wonder how long this will remain open....

Went there on a Friday night. At the door rather than welcoming us the staff stressed that meal had to take two hours top. We acknowledged it while finding that a bit rude. Food came very slow, tasteless and super salty. Half of the original...menu was gone and it is obvious they buy frozen low quality goods and serve them. Sushis are nasty; the worst I ever tasted. Veggies are not fresh and service is terrible. Manager is rude; he yells at customers that are not done eating within the two hours. He says it’s max three services (which is indicated nowhere) or two hours which we used neither of. Our meals wasn’t finished but we we’re told to leave as other customers we’re waiting. There was about people waiting in the lobby and outside in weather. Horrible and unfortunate because when this place opened it was good. Avoid!
