Café & Crèpes Bombay Inc. - Longueuil

We went to this charming cafe for breakfast on September 5th. The owner, who was our server was very friendly, but seemed to still be learning the ropes of the restaurant business as she really didn't know her menu, and made several trips to deliver our food and beverages instead of bringing them out at once. Just seemed very disorganized. Our drinks arrived one at a time. Not very efficient. Then the same with our breakfasts. There were six of us and she made 6 trips back and forth from the kitchen to the table. Well, 5 trips as they actually forgot my buddy's order which was strange because he and I ordered the same item. Made us all wonder if the kitchen was cooking on a single hot plate. So, that's the negative and these issues can be corrected. Hopefully sooner rather than later. For the good... the food was terrific! Fresh French toast, crepes, eggs and lots of fresh fruit. Delicious! We sat on the patio which wasn't huge, but not crowded. The interior tables had cool looking tables with old church pews for seating. Each table even had its own toaster. This is a small quaint little bistro/cafe with great food (breakfast is all I can comment on) a great atmosphere and very friendly, caring service. I just hope they can sort out their organizational and meal prep issues out quickly. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. FYI... she took off the cost of my friends Cafe au Lait due to the delay in getting him his food. A good gesture. Definitely recommend trying this place, just allow yourself some extra time just in case.

If you're near the Greenfield Park borough of Longueuil, a great place for breakfast is Bombay Poulet, crêpe et café. The crêpes are delicious and accompanied by 5 different fresh fruits. Pets are welcome on the shady outdoor terrace. WIFI is available. Service is efficient and friendly. Coffee is included in the very reasonable price.
