Posto Italian - Longmeadow

Posto is an awesome dinner spot for some of the best italian in the area. I lived in Italy for years and this is by far the closest i've come across is america. Highly recommend.

I come here every time I’m in town from New York and I ask for the shrimp scampi pizza that’s no longer in the menu and they make it every time! Fingers crossed this goes back on the menu it’s sooooooo good!The customer service is amazing and the drinks are sooooooo good! I’ll be bringing my mom here for Mother’s Day she can’t wait!

Excellent service, but underwhelming tasting food. The risotto balls were tasty enough, but the main entree fell short. I am a fan of short ribs, but their short rib lasagna left me wondering if it was really short ribs or just an average (and fairly dry) cut of roast beef.

First time customer dining with some friends celebrating 3 of our birthdays. I had the short rib lasagna. It was pretty good. We also ordered the risotto balls and the Brussel sprouts plus drinks. The risotto balls were delicious. The Brussel sprouts were probably my favorite. I could have just ate that along with the risotto balls. I had the Apple Pie Cosmo for my drink. It was good. Not too strong, not too weak. It was also a charity cocktail. A friend had the pork chop saltimbocca, and let me try a piece. It was so darn good. I normally don't eat pork chops and haven't had one in years. But I'm tempted to go again and get that dish. It was quite busy when we got there but we had a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes for them to get ready for us. Our server was super nice and had good suggestions. My friends liked their drinks, as well. Merci Merci Me, delicious and a Sunset Sangria. The friend that got the sangria said it was ok. It looked good, so I may have to try it and form my own opinion. The restaurant is located in a nice plaza. It's definitely a place to revisit.

The two hosts greeted us with big smiles and a hello, our server Marissa was on point and personable but not bothersome. Others stopped and happily poured us more water and cleared our plates. The food was great but I was really impressed with the staff. Good for you, considering how in this day it’s impossible to find help in the restaurant world never mind good help. We had not been in in at least a year but we will be back soon for sure. Thank you
