Bidra med feedback5 stars for the incredible value and quality of the food. You are looking at a 4 course meal with coffee and a small glass of wine for a grand total of 11.50 euros or less than £10. The restaurant is modern and cosy whilst the food is French traditional. No wonder this is such a busy place for lunch. Highly recommended.
We called for luch. The starters were buffet style not a great deal of choice, there were grated carrot, meatloaf, potato salad, pasta, frozen crabsticks. We ordered steak for our main requested one rare 2 medium rare, they were all brought to our table cooked the same, medium to quite well done, with pre-packaged frozen chips. There were no accompaniments such as onion, mushrooms, tomato or side salad. Dessert was either fruit salad, plain yogurt, angel delight type chocolate mousse or a square of cake with cream in it. We were disappointed with the quality of the food. The actual restaurant itself is very nice the two owners were on site friendly welcoming.
This restaurant is housed in a beautiful old building on lovely grounds. The restaurant seemed to be frequented mainly by locals and it was very pleasant to eat outside in the sunshine. We (2 adults, 2 children) all opted for the Plat du Jours (adult and child versions available). This consisted of a buffet starter with lots of tasty offerings (e.g. meatloaf, pasta salad, rice with tuna), a choice of several main courses which were simple but delicious, a cheese course and dessert. Wine was also included as part of the meal. The service was excellent (prompt without rushing the guests) which was impressive given that there were two large functions being hosted inside the restaurant. Incredibly, the bill (for four of us) was less than €40 which was fantastic value. Our only regret was that we weren't able to spend more time here as we were in a rush to get to the airport!
