Sweetleaf - Long Island City

If you are vegan and gluten-free, look forward to it! There are baked goods for you to enjoy. The coffee is also reliable good. My first experience with Sweetleaf was in Williamsburg. I wasn't a fan of service and atmosphere there. Because of this experience, I was hesitate to check this place in my new neighborhood. I'm so glad I left! This is my new place for coffee. The mood in this situation is great. I had great food options, large workspace and cheerful service of most employees. The bonus: it turns into a cocktail place in the evenings. I'm excited to come back and try. Pro Tip: Ask for your coffee punch card. Just like in Williamsburg, they don't offer it unless you ask. I'm not sure how often you have to show up before it's offered to you, so don't wait. Get a free cup of coffee after buying 10 cups!

Great place for cocktails, I had always mentioned a completely different experience with the bartender in another review. She was very nice to me and whoever I bring. Overall, the experience is great, the service is fast, the drinks are really good and even though the cocktail menu is amazing if you have an inquiry that is different, they are taking it and it is always on place. Also the ambience and the lighting and the location are at the point!

We went on a Tuesday night with a group of about 8 people. The place was not busy at all. The service was good, bartenders were nice and quick. The drinks were decent but I wouldn't go back for cocktails. The vibe is awesome though.

Sweetleaf is my favorite spot in LIC. Whether I’m here for brunch, coffee, or cocktails, I end up staying for hours because of the cozy atmosphere and amazing staff. Everyone who works here is so friendly! Here’s a photo of the sweetest bartender making my friend a custom cocktail. I can’t recommend this spot enough!
