Suzuki Shokudo - Long Island City

This restaurant is small with a few tables spread out, and the decor is minimal with some Japanese posters on the walls. The first time we came as a large group and set at a table. On my last visit, we were only 3 and sat at the counter. We ordered the omakase sushi, which includes 10 pieces. We also got seaweed salad, fried chicken, fried fish, and agadashi tofu. Everything was delicious! The plates are small, but we were all beyond stuffed when we finished our dinner. If you can sit at the counter, I would totally recommend it as the chef was awesome and really made our experience very enjoyable. Considering the quality of the food and service, the prices here are quite reasonable.

Great value for really good Sushi. Fish was super fresh and will be back to try the Ramen. I sat at Sushi Bar, so I was not allowed to order the ramen unless I sat at a table. I didn't feel like taking a whole table since I was by myself so I just got the Sushi Combo.Food: 5/5

I was Brought here by my Japanese good friends. I always trust them for the best food locations. And never the less Suzuki Shokudo is 5/5 stars. Very fresh and authentic sushi. Melts in your mouth.And very nice location. Feels very welcoming and home like feel.Sitting at the counter bar is always my favorite and feels more authentic. Love this place. Will be back soon.
