Long Flat Travellers Rest

We had a great 2 night stay in the pub accommodation. Rooms vary in size and share the bathroom facilities. There are two bathrooms off the guest lounge area, each having a shower, toilet and vanity, and good pressure, hot water. Clean towels and bath mats are provided. The bed was made with fresh linen and was comfy. Our room #6 had no heating, so it was pretty cold in May, but they did find an electric blanket and extra blankets for us. It's pretty basic, but good value accommodation.

Nothing better than a little country pub. Peaceful setting near the Ellenborough River, great for a dip to freshen up. Enjoy heading out to longflat on a weekend for a cold beer and lunch. Chicken schnitzel is AMAZING....... ALL THE FOOD is Lots of shady tables so your kept cool and so is your beer staff are very welcoming also Thank you Food drinks: Great food lots of variety. Meals are quite large so we normally share a meal. Beer is also great too

If you know this place, you're lucky. If you stumble across it on a road trip, you are even more lucky as we did. I can not imagine this gem ever disappointing

Enjoyed our afternoon there, disappointed the bistro closed, but had a great feed from the takeaway across the road. Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great value
