Fishbone Seafood Long Beach

This place lacks the consistency of being open when your website list your open for business. Not the first time driving from Orange County to support your business and your not open.

Where do I start? the customer service was excellent, the young man who answered the phone was polite and friendly. I called my order when we were on the autobahn. if they order via the phone, they must give their card information that is understandable because the people order and do not show up. we ordered the fish, garnel and oyster combo with green and fryed. 2nd order was a red snapper dinner with coleslaw and fries and a side of hush puppies. we were quoted 20 min and it was ready when we arrived, the young man was still friendly and had everything ready to go. eating was fresh and hot, all eating was very well seasoned. the college was okay, I'll choose something else next time. the pommes were so good, freshly cut and seasoned that they looked and tasted as if I were back in the kitchen of granny when everything was made from ground on. my hubby gave him a 10, which is quite large because he is not generous, only because. overall we were very happy with our food and since this place is closest, we will be back soon. thanks fishbone!

Great place. Would really like for you all to answer the phone

The cashier was not fully familiarize with the meals. I asked if the fish and shrimp combo comes with roll/bread she said no. So I bought the garlic bread as an extra side. Which I didn’t need because the meal came with a roll. Also, the fish was fried in Old Oil or it was overcooked as it had a burnt taste and it was salty for regular seasoning. I didn’t get Cajun so it shouldn’t had been salty. I will not be returning $30 for salty food that was cooked in Old/Burnt Oil.

It was the restaurant's opening day, so I will try to be understanding. However, they were not well-prepared for the large crowd that showed up. It took 1 1/2 hours for our order to be completed due to a lack of cooks and disorganized staff. The food was good once we finally received it, but we noticed that one of our dishes was missing. We can appreciate supporting a small business, but we are unsure if we will return in the future.
