Burger Daddy - Long Beach

I wish they’d cooked the burger longer. Maybe this is why they were empty at 6pm? Good fries though…

I like Burger Daddy's interior. I feel like more than eating can happen here. There are two floors. If it's possible to play different music on each floor, Burger Daddy may be more of a chill spot to eat, and/or hangout.I order the Beyond Daddy Burger. After preparing a decent Beyond Burger for myself prior writing this review, I can better assess the burger patty. I like the burger patty though I tend to like my burgers a little crispier on the outside. Considering the other ingredients, all the flavors seem to mesh. I feel like I'm eating something good-whole more so than tasty with tasty parts.The Spicy Tangy Fries are good though I think better to share. The water is okay, and tastes different from each machine. During my visit, the ketchup doesn't have honey in it, for any one looking for a Vegan sauce option like ketchup. From the information I gather, the menu has less options than prior though the establishment uses expensive ingredients. In my experience, customer service is good, and informative (about ingredients and the prepping process). The establishment takes Samsung Pay.

As a self proclaimed vegetarian burger connoisseur, I had to try this place out. Unsurprisingly, the descriptions and photos posted on Yelp do capture the warmth and comfort of the burgers! I had the regular GH Daddy burger (comes with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, spread, and house made pickles , but substituted the Angus patty for the Beyond Burger. The patty was perfectly cooked and complimented all the other condiments! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect burger to be honest. It was especially, especially the house made pickles that sealed the deal for me. I also had the Dad Bod Fries which were, as some reviewers have also pointed out, In n Out fries on steroids! I found them to be fantastic not because of the toppings, but because of how well done the fries had been prepared nicely crisped on the outside and almost doughy on the inside. (In fact as I recall this memory, I am drooling! I came with a friend and she ordered the regular GH Daddy burger and the kombucha on tap; she also really enjoyed her meal. In addition to the meal, I appreciated the location (looks out onto Broadway and seating options (they have outdoor and a neat upstairs area and I feel as though these features justify the higher price range of the meal. I plan on coming back soon and sharing this place with some more friends! Thank you.

Most excellent service and quality of food. Their wine slushy is super even on a cool day.
