Expensive place, only good as a last option if other stores are closed and you are desperate to get whatever it is you want to get and the stores are closed. Same goes for Sobeys and Loblaws.

I brought a reusable bag, put my intended purchases in it.. Walked around 3 mins and realized the same attendant was following me and watching me every isle. I was getting eggs, a 6pk to share with my friend whose Dad just died, and was looking at the chicken and steak; Almost tempted to purchased the $18 pack of 2 until I realized I was being watched like a a criminal lol I'm sure my professional work uniform and cash in hand obviously meant I was stealing everything. Prices are insane and the criticism was enough to make me change my mind and consider shopping else where.

Overall a nice big clean store with all the necessaries, variety, and expected service from staff.A good grocery store for the community.

I have been going to Metro Pharmacy at Cheapside and Adelaide for many years and it's always been a pleasure going there and talking to the staff at the pharmacy and even the staff that I've talked to throughout the store and at other locations too. They are all very kind and helpful.

Formerly a 24/7 but open until 11PM now, this Metro location has many available cashiers at any given time and generally fun staff to make small talk with.
