Jack Astor's Richmond Row - London

I truly do not understand the criticism of this restaurant. London has some hidden gems and this is definitely one of them.

We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes. The food was a little bland and pricey as well. However, the portions were great.

This restaurant in London is highly overrated! The main focus here is on using excessive amounts of salt.

Good food, good drinks. Appropriate price for both. Great location, enjoy upstairs patio. Service is always lacking.

Stopped in for a drink on a Friday night and thought I'd grab a light bite. Sat at the bar with no wait. Ordered a crown n ginger and smoked meat poutine. Drink was a real drink and the poutine was over the top. Lots of curds, smoked meat and of course gravy. I thought my food and service was great. Also found the bartender to be friendly and on the ball. This biz guy was thankful.
