Bidra med feedbackWe were downstairs through promotional coupons. There was absolutely no contact tracking. The cashier seemed to be new on the job asked us and his superiors a lot of questions and it was busy so that people were standing around. We asked for two forks and got one plus one knife. Burgers were fast up, but put under heat lamp to wait for onion rings, so they were not terrible hot. There is a good selection of unlimited toppings! Other portions seem to be large rings, burgers and salads at the bottom. Salad contained no salad, but shredded red cabbage. In a burger there was a durable woody object that was not safe. Because of Covid, shells were removed and everything is bagged. Certainly not our best visit!
Angus Burger with my faves, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard and relish, who could ask for something more,,ok I had the fries and coffee combo and topped it with a chocolate and marshmallow pie that I might have skipped. Too hot and too sweet.
Just chain where the staff wash their hands and seek customers. Place is very clean. All employees ensure that customers are quickly served.
Never had big problems here and we're coming to a cheap lunch quite often. Our lunch is the “2 can dinate for 11.99”. Harveys also offers discounts to CAA members. It varies, but last time it was 10, so the combo was only $10.80 for 2 charred burgers with unlimited fresh toppings, 2 drinks and 2 pages no extra charge for onion rings). We share this and a salad. Yes, the combos are up to 1$, the chip containers are smaller than the salads. This is the direct result of the increased minimum wage and we see it everywhere!! We have to thank the Ontario government because companies can not have any additional costs and hope to stay in business. Good luck to find restaurants that are not down, increased prices or hired employees or all three! The staff of the counter is friendly and helpful. We haven't met long waiting times like McDonalds on Wellington. And you can choose as many fresh burger toppings as you like. I love their onion rings, they are always crispy! Their prices, even with increases, are competitive. They often expose coupons. The family bundle for 4) is only $19.80 if you are a CAA member and they allow us to use the discount with a voucher offer! .
As a family we go out once week, tonight being no exception. We have visited Harvey's many times, with good service as a rule. Tonight, we place our order, my wife is waiting, and asks are you short staffed, as our food is sitting under the heat lamps while the cook is cooking. The answer, we have to make up 30% due to wage increase, so have one less on staff, increased meal cost, and the best of all, smaller portions. Well, not sure how much they saved, but definitely cost them a customer. Won't be going back. We used to go a couple times a month, someone else will benefit.
