East Side Mario's - London

We had a reservation for 3. There was not a lot of people in there but we felt very rushed. I told the waitress I wasn't ready and she said she would start with my other family members first which gave me about 30 seconds to make a decision. Not the best salad I have had there was some brown pieces. My husband and I ordered the buy one get one and the waitress forgot our take homes and had to remind her. My child had a kids meal and also had to remind her about dessert. We were in and out in about half an hour so rushed and not very happy.

Service was mediocre at best. They were not aware of our reservation on arrival. Having a reservation wasn't important as there was space in the restaurant at the time but it would have been nice to have it acknowledged. Food arrived at the table in a timely manner but the server got one of the lunch menu requests wrong (chicken addition was not included) and did not follow up with the table until it was time to pay the bill. When advised of the problem, they did not charge for the requested chicken addition and did not do anything else to correct the situation. Overall a mediocre experience.

I made a reservation online, when we got there our name was not in the book, she had to go and get the manager and they found my reservation online. Our service wasn't the greatest, kept having to ask for things, finally ask someone else and we got it fast. I ordered the pizza and it wasn't even cute into slices. Than I had to wait to send it back, finally I stopped someone else and they took it back to the kitchen for me. I get it was a Saturday night but it could have been better for the 6 of us.

I Stoped by to grab some lunch on a Friday around noon. Ordered the soup, salad and all you can eat yummy bread. I was sitting at a booth that I had picked out, had a great view of outside activity, watched part of a hockey game on their TV, and was able to get some work done that I brought with me to do…..all in all a great, working lunch. I also picked up a couple of Christmas gifts too —the ultimate East Side Mario‘s holiday bowl that included their iconic red bowl and famous garden salad dressing. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch on a Friday.
