Humbledough - London

The Keksteig and ice cream was so delicious, I have the peanut butter and jam option. I wish they had a larger seating area!

Big cookies, sub by Keksteig... doesn't make sense, but its truth!

Humble dough is located on the ground floor of Box Park and is a small shop selling fresh cookies and keksteig. The cookies are gluten-free. If you are looking for a vegan lunch Mercy Burger is nearby, although I did not try. While there are no seats in the shop, the Box Park has many seats and frequent events. I ordered a pack of cookies through Too Good To Go and they were really nice. Since they are gluten-free, they are a little crumbling, but that has not distracted from the taste. I especially liked the original chocolate chip cookie with Swiss chocolate coins and gandache, as it has a beautiful balance of sweet and salty. If you are looking for a cheap dessert in Shoreditch as if you should give Humble Dough a try.

I bought some cookies here. I love that there are many vegan options. The cookies are gluten-free, which is good for gluten-tolerant customers, but the trade is that the cookies are a bit crooked. But they are good cookies, though a bit too sweet. I want to come back and try the ice cream!

I just didn’t really like the cookie dough. I thought it would be served hot, but it was room temperature. It was small but made me feel heavy and it tasted quite sickly. The chocolate chip cookie on the other hand was delicious. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-02
