Bidra med feedbackThat could be a hopeful statement, but I think that is the best Indian restaurant in the city. I love this place so much!
Disappointing experience. I have become a great Indian food fan, so I was curious to walk over this place in the neighbourhood. atmosphere. the place could use.
Yes, really bad experience here last night. our evening place of choice turned out to have made a mistake, ok no biggie. We meant that.
One of my favorite dining spots in the Angel/Islington area is Zaffrani, not only for its delicious Indian cuisine but also for its cozy and elegant decor, as well as its consistently friendly staff. While I am usually hesitant to try new Indian restaurants (once I find one I love, I tend to stick with it), I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try something new at Zaffrani. I strayed away from my usual order of dum ka murgh (a tasty chicken curry in a tomato sauce) and peshwari naan, and was pleasantly surprised by the recommendation given to me by the waiter. Although I wasn't initially impressed, the dish quickly grew on me and left me satisfied. Zaffrani offers a welcoming atmosphere for friends and family to enjoy a bottle of wine along with a variety of delectable curries and appetizers. This is a must-visit spot for a post-shopping meal on Upper Street.
Zaffrani is located on cross street directly on the main street islington, the upper street and the essex road. it has a clean, modern interieur with elegant black leather chairs and white pendant lights. it is a relatiw small restaurant and tables are packed quite closely together, which is for an intimate culinary experience. I came here a few times with my mother and my brother and we love to share the vegetarian basar ki bajias, a delicious selection of bajis, wobble and lens fritters, samosas and a selection of dips. Although it is intended for two, the portions are quite generous and is definitiv sufficient for a party of three or four. I am a pretty wimp when it comes to wicy food so in the rule decide for the saag gosht. it is a relatiw mild lamb curry with chili, senf and spinat. I always find this lamb very delicate and very tasteful and was never disappointed by this court. my mother often commands the laal maas, another lamb shell, but with more fiery bite. it is delicious, but recommended for the more adventurous diner because of its hot taste. Although these are our fixed favorites, I was always satisfied with my choice when I order something else. zaffrani never fails to deliver on a chilled and tasteful culinary experience.
