Bidra med feedbackIt may have been good at one stage..... but it certainly isn 't now ! Lots of fuss and ceremony, with staff presenting each plate of food with a fanfare fit for the Queen of Sheba. But instead of a Royal experience, expect John Prescott chewing a wasp. A miso dressing with so much salt that it could refloat the Titanic. Tiny morsels of food going firmly beyond Nouvelle Cuisine towards Miserly . And not that well cooked either, creating the impression, perhaps falsely, of a chef whose self regard has exceeded their taste, putting experimentation ahead of outcome. After all, the prime purpose of a restaurant is to feed customers, not to have them asking for more, in a bad way. As my gran would say: All fur coat and no knickers
The food was interesting, imaginative and delicious, the service impeccable and the decor/lighting/sound gave great ambiance. It was a very professional but personal experience. I could not rate this place more highly
Absolutely the best restaurant to go to! The staff are second to none and the food is amazingly good. We always have the plant based menu as we are vegan and it's rare to find somewhere that isn't exclusively vegan that does such great plant based food. Thank you to Sandram for impeccable service and all of the staff for being so lovely! I am sure we will be back soon!
This restaurant offers a children’s tasting menu which is an amazing concept! My son devoured it all but felt like he had an experience not just a meal. It was lovely to do the same thing in a relaxed and inclusive place. Wonderful birthday meal!
This is a lovely restaurant in a great location and with good service. Those factors alone can make it worthwhile. But when you get to the food it's all rather disappointing. An asparagus starter sounded good, given that this is asparagus season, but when it arrived there was one asparagus stalk, split in 4 pieces, over some other vegetables £13 for that. And the oysters were rather too mushy and all the seawater had been drained. Warning a good number of the dishes are on the arty but small side of things.
