The Waterway - London

Good atmosphere and service, but some food was not salted, and fish was served without lemon.

Decent place, friendly people, food is good quality.

I decided to give the Waterway another chance and went for brunch. This is not a gastropub. I ordered the eggs royale and was highly disappointed. The hollandaise sauce had a thick mayo-like texture, as if it had been defrosted. The poached eggs were watery and the salmon tasted like it had been sitting out for a day. The "lemonades" were overpriced and mostly ice. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. In a previous review, I mentioned that the staff could be friendlier. It seems like they believe their high prices give them the right to act superior. Once, when I asked about a discount for CAMRA members, the bartender told me to go to Poundland if I wanted a discount.

Riverside friendly place with good food and lunch menu including drinks. Would go again.
