Always enjoy going to the Wheatsheaf. Food was really nice, only criticism was the Yorkshire puddings on everyones Sunday roast we very dry and over done. Apart from that food and service great.

Great food and good service. Location is amazing and the menu is surprisingly good. Had the duck confit and it was one of the best I’ve had so far. Nice local pub on the food scene I reckon.

Fiends visiting from out of town and the Wheatsheaf was a great place for a casual dinner. They really enjoyed the fish and chips! The dining room is quieter than the pub. Service was very friendly and helpful!

Visited for Sunday Lunch, if you enjoy lamb then convince someone else joining you to share it with you. You won't be disappointed! There was enough food for at least 3 people even though it was meant to serve 2. The lamb was so tender and just slid off the bone, delicious. Sadly no room for pud, but the ones on the table next to us looked yummy! Great value Sunday Lunch in a pleasant dining room. Super friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be returning.

Great food and the waitress was really friendly. It’s very busy but it was mother’s days and free prosecco was offered for the mums which was a great touch. The types of tables offered was confusing with bar top or high top not reflecting the front of pub or back room at the pub.
