The Rum Kitchen - All Saints Road

This restaurant provided possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. We were initially greeted by a confused waitress who seemed clueless about our reservation for a table of 6, not 5. Once seated, things slightly improved and our food was good as expected. However, there were significant delays in ordering drinks and dessert, and after waiting for an hour, we had to repeatedly complain to the waitress who appeared to be socializing with friends instead of attending to us. When we finally tried to pay our bill, there was confusion as some of our party had not yet left the restaurant. Overall, this experience was terrible and has negatively impacted my view of the Rum Kitchen brand. It's unfortunate that I chose the Notting Hill location after a previous unfavorable encounter at the Carnaby Street branch in October 2017. The manager attempted to appease me with a free drink when a mouse ran under my table, indicating a lack of professionalism. I would advise caution when dining at Rum Kitchen.

The staff seemed unhappy and we felt rushed to order as soon as we were seated, making us feel a bit uneasy. However, the food and cocktails tasted delicious.

Loved the restaurant, the food was excellent big portions. I had the fritters for starters and the jerk chicken both dishes very nice. Nice atmosphere, drinks were a bit expensive but overall very nice . Would definitely recommend. Some staff were rude but others were really nice and helpful. Didn’t let it ruin our experience.
