Bidra med feedbackWhat a great place. young cool fresh and trendy. we all loved the amazing eating. Many thanks.
A short walk from the train station notting hill gate is a small yellow door, a bright narrow disc hidden between a boutique dress business and a sticky tourist business. number 68, notting hill gate (what an excellent random rhyming address) is the home of some friendly flatmates who have turned their flat part into a now permanent pop-up restaurant and bar. the small yellow door is open to anyone to eat an informal bite in a casual, house party.
Wow, it is incredible this place, near nothing hill station, the drinks are amazing and really strong. the atmosphere is unbelievable seem to be in a house party and is friendly. I'll tell everyone to go at least one.
London is a growing animal of a city. it moves at 100mph and if they don't keep, they can easily miss all new openings in the city. every week, my post-entry is flooded with newsletters, with news about a new restaurant concept, a must-see pop-up, an exciting new collaboration, bars, drinks. it may sometimes be quite overwhelming. Many great places often slide, although the net, as I do not physically (or afford) any new venture, and inevitably start even more places and the list will be longer and longer. such a place is the little yellow door, one of the longest standing pop-up bars londons, which is characterized by the history that five friendly “flatmates” welcome them at home in their cozy west londoner, bookable via whatsapp. only one cat jump from the tube station notting hill gate, they opened their little yellow door in October 2014 and quickly became the target doll, with slang, who regularly snoop down notting hill gate. I'm not a fan of queuing, so at the time I thought I'd wait until the hype die a bit down and then I would go. but of course so many other places opened about this time and it went out of my head. then a few weeks ago I was invited to a homemaster party to celebrate in their latest American homemates, hank, welcome and the extension of their rental contract. in true American style, she served on an evening club courts like pulled bark shiny, new england clam chowder, truffle mac’n’ cheese and bourbon milkshake dishes. How could I refuse?
Last weekend I gathered a big group of friends and headed to The Ultimate Dinner Party at The Little Yellow Door. Located just a few steps away from Notting Hill Gate station, we knocked on the yellow door and made our way up some steep steps to be greeted and welcomed into a quirky and intimate living room with long tables set for a feast.
