Bidra med feedbackChaos is how I would describe this place in a word! great decor and ambiente. but lacked basic knowledge. we had cleaned toast to begin with sweet chilli sauce, the sweet chilli sauce was just a sweet syrup without taste of any flavor. we asked for chili and we have a small dish of chili powder with oil poured on half of it and half mixed. we had every Tom-Yum soup that was good, but I had better. it was easy on the salty side and lacked in ingwer and acid. for the net we had slender slenders grilled in a tamarinden sauce with cashews and dried garlic crispy pieces top, which was beautiful. the tamarindensoße could have done with a little more complexity...read more
Beautiful dimly illuminated environment, courtesy service and a decent menu of mostly affordable oriented. portions were not as large as I expected, but they were very tasty. excellent allergy-consciousness and good vegetarian selection. will definitely return.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Although I had high hopes based on reviews, I was disappointed by the lack of strong flavors in the dishes. The food was decent, but not worth the high price. If you are looking for authentic Thai flavors, this might not be the best choice.
I discovered a rubber band in my food! I am a fan of Thai cuisine and regularly treat my family to a nice meal once a month. I have been a patron of Thai Rooms for over 5 years and have always been pleased with the service and hospitality, but I am now upset and disappointed with how I was treated. Last Friday evening, I ordered my usual Pad Thai with prawns, which is a favorite of my four-year-old. When it arrived, I noticed a blue rubber band on the plate, which horrified me. I called the restaurant to inform them, but they seemed indifferent and made me feel like a liar. They offered to give me a refund, but did not even apologize. I had to wait until the end of the night for the refund to be processed.
This Thai restaurant is the best in London. It's my favorite Thai spot outside of the city. I've brought many friends here and everyone has loved it. My go-to dish is the duck curry, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. If this restaurant were in Central London, it would be nearly impossible to snag a reservation.
