Sitar Indian Restaurant - London

Sitar is definitely one of the top takeout restaurants in the area. The service is excellent, the food is high quality and delicious. I will definitely be ordering from Sitar for years to come. The vegetarian options are also all very tasty.

The restaurant only offers takeout. It's average, but the menu could be improved. The drinks are expensive and limited to soft drinks. Parking is awkward, so it's better to pick up your order on foot. There is strong competition in the area with better options available.

I ordered from this place for the first time tonight. It's a local restaurant, and I did some research because ordering curry is a serious business for an Indian. I compared the value for money, flavor, portion size, and variety with three other local restaurants, and Sitar was the best in terms of value and portion size. The food was tasty, and the delivery guy was very polite. We ordered two big portions of chicken korma, two peshwari naans, mushroom rice, a sheekh kebab starter (2 pieces), and mutar paneer. Well done, guys! Keep up the good work.

Being using the Sitar for over 30 years (there was a restaurant there once), lovely family business. Food is the best in the area and we should know, we lived here for 38 years. Just ordered another dinner for delivery yum

Recently ordered a takeaway from Sitar while at my daughter 's house for the evening and I have to say that it arrived quickly, hot and most importantly the food was GREAT. I agree with the 'As Important to South Norwood as the clock tower ' review by Jabba H. Maybe a little more expensive than some others BUT the food is the best in the area.
