Bidra med feedbackI can't say enough about this Goodmans Witherspoon. Coming from Los Angeles maybe I have different taste buds, because I expected this restaurant not to meet my expectations but everything on the menu did! I spent over $200 at the Shar, over $200 Butlers Wharf Chophouse, and Ping-Pong $70. The fish and chips are delicious with thick breading and a good piece of fish, but it may not fill you up. You may have to order another dish. Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent! Ordered it twice since I've been here. If you like any food order this! Jack Daniels Chicken Burger. Very big chicken breast with a thick crispy crust. Tasty and excellent! Chicken cutlet curry and Steak I must admit didn't look good at all. But it's the inside that count, right? It was so delicious! Different flavor than the Japanese curry I'm used to nevertheless, it was very tasty, not spicy, and delicious! The steak was tender, not chewy and really tasty! Breakfast burrito doesn't look good, but it was filled with a lot of stuff inside and super delicious! The negative are the fries. Not used to the thick cut potato chips. They weren't crispy enough. I recommend the chocolate brownie with ice cream over the chocolate cake
Food was average but it's a quick cheap bite. Very reasonable based on the location too!
We ate here about 3 times during our stay in Whitechapel. It's pretty much a London version of iHop so lots of good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. PLUS lots of drink options wine, spritz, cocktails and beers. My wife enjoyed Treason, an IPA. However, unlike American restaurants, you need to place your order at the bar and provide a table number. Service was pretty quick and the people we nice and attentive. Sit by the window that's closest to the London Royal Hotel for some good people watching.
Great find near the Tower of London area. Great food and best of all great prices. You sit yourself down and order from the bar and they bring the food to your table. You can get a meal and a drink for less that $10 (US US for those of us visiting London), which is hard to beat around here! We came for breakfast and you can't beat the free refills on coffees. Will definitely come back and wish we would have found this place earlier during our time here in London. In short: great prices, good food and fast service.
Came here with my mum on our first morning in London. She had the traditional breakfast and I had the eggs benedict. Both were spot on for a Wetherspoons Pub. It was a rather large establishment charming place to come to as you sit yourself and order at the bar and they bring you your food. I'll be back again.
